After an amazing experience last year, we’re back again at Studio West for the Spring Reading on Thursday, March 21, 2024! The evening will begin with hot drinks and treats at 5:30 pm in the Art Gallery, courtesy of the Student Government Association. Enjoy a snack, rub elbows with poets and artists, and check out Seeking Shelter, the powerful new exhibit featuring Rough Ruby Arts Collective Artists Lupita Carrasco, Ceil Horrowitz, LuDel Walter, and Laura BenAmots. At 6 pm, students, faculty, and Nearby Universe members S. M. Lindberg, Richard Trussell, and Brook Bhagat will read their work. At 7 pm, the Visiting Writers Series event will begin, featuring whodunit author Patricia Meredith (in historical costume!). Finally, at 8, Ms. Meredith will be available to sign copies of her books.
