Brook Bhagat is proud to have one creative nonfiction piece and one poem published in the new issue of Lamplit Underground Magazine. The CNF, “Just a Story,” is the true story of a dream of dying by gunshot; the other, “It Takes More Sparrows,” imagines ten thousand sparrows with strings on their necks, carrying a piano closer to home. Both pieces were workshopped in the group and became sharper thanks to her fellow members of the Nearby Universe. Read them HERE.
