Brook Bhagat is honored to have her poem, “The Torch,” selected for publication in “Glissade,” a special issue on dance, released yesterday from The Pine Cone Review. This poem was inspired by her favorite part of the Winter Olympics–watching the figure skaters disappear like dancers dissolving into the dance. Like other poems of hers that have eventually been published, the first place this one was seen was in the monthly email inviting PPSC employees to a Nearby Universe workshop.
