ReeAnn Hyde (M. R. Hyde) is pleased to share that her artwork has been accepted for this exciting gallery exhibition. There’s a free opening night reception Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-8pm, and the show will be on display through December 23. From the Cottonwood Center for the Arts website:
Cottonwood Center for the Arts is pleased to present a juried exhibition for the month of December. This installation is composed of works by local artists working in all mediums, and will feature artworks depicting large objects in tiny scale, and small objects in oversized dimensions.
How big can an artist push the impression of a colossal sized chess piece? Can they shrink massive mountains down to pocket sized representation? Join us at Cottonwood on an adventure through the proverbial looking glass, challenge your interpretation, question perception and get imaginative with the rules of scale to view your references, symbols, or subjects anew. Enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries on First Friday and all month long during normal business hours at Cottonwood Center for the Arts. See more info on the Cottonwood Center here, and see ReeAnn Hyde’s artwork on Redbubble.
